Aphex Twin's new one

If you like his music you will really get into his new one. A real mix of ambient oddness mixed with tunes which are best described as aural assault!

I have only listened to half of it so far ( got it yesterday ) so I am hoping the second half is as good as the first. It is a huge album, sold as a double CD. I picked it up as a limited edition 4 times 12inch box set - yummy. The vinyl is 180 gram and is pressed to a very high standard at 45rpm. With only two to three tracks a side it really goes Loooowwww in the bass dept.

A very particular taste so don't blame me if you find it is not your cup of tea

The second half is even better! Bought it yesterday, played through CDX and my jaw is still dragging around on the floor. Would love to hear it through my P9, but haven't found the vinyl version in the states yet.

This is a real good work out for any naim based system. Stops, starts and changes direction constantly. Really breath-taking dynamics. I wonder if he uses Naim amplification?

The ambient bits give you time to recover before you are pinned to your seat once again.

Be careful with the neighbours with this one!
