Why does our PM keep spongeing holidays?

Does the man have no dignity?

It's not what you know , but who you know.

I have a friend who gives me her holiday cottage for free for up to a week. Do I say no, of course not..... she get's nice presents and some cash though. Sometimes friends can be very generous. If the freebie is for political gain then obviously thats a different story. Unfortunately I don't have that level of clout so Robin Gibbs house in the US is out of bounds

Why no Sir Robin Gibb in the New Year's honours list - surely that's the usual protocol.

If I was offered a free holiday I would take it an no messing.

Because he's a sponging lowlife sonofabitch that's why.
No, really! He likes to live it up at the expense of glitzy, obsequious pop stars and corrupt foreign politicians because he's whiter than white, ultra moral, and above all a man of the people!

None of us, of course, would ever take advantage of any perks that came with position or responsibility.
Nor would we ever take up friend's offers of hospitality at any level.
On the other hand, if you are a political leader type person (imagine that for one horrible moment) - you may be glad to holiday at private invitation rather than try to negotiate the great unwashed in a public hotel or resort.
What humbug. Until you are in a similar position of being offered help in this way - you have no idea what you would do.
Far more comfortable to know you will never have to make such choices perhaps. This applies to anyone in such a position - I have no time for Blair.
Steve.

I wonder which way he'll vote on the copyright issue?

Would that be the copyright issue that was settled with no change a couple of weeks ago?

'Our Tone' (I didn't vote for him BTW) is a hard working guy with a very responsible job, who's been invited to stay with a friend.
Shocking stuff.
Such cynicism gentlemen.
When I see what's going on around the world, I count myself pretty fortunate to live in this fine country.

Chaps, let's not delude ourselves that Blair knows the BeeGee. It's a straightforward sponge. So comments above about taking up offers from friends don't compute.
This is a clear example of a politician trading on his name to get a freebee.
He's a f*cking disgrace.

Personally speaking, I couldn't care less about the Blair's holiday arrangements, private life details, etc.
However, taking this country to war on a false prospectus and the resultant death and destruction to our service men and women, not to mention innocent citizens in the countries involved, that I care very much about.

Wot Northpole said. Impeach him and lock him up (Bliar not Northpole)- lock him up and throw away the key and let him rot for the remainder of his life as a reminder to other potential US owned poodles/warmongerers.

Graham, Do you know he has not paid, or that the BGee in question is not offering?
Anyway, it amuses me that with Blair covered in political and moral bull's eyes - you pick a questionable target that doesn't matter a shit.
Pity he's not in Barbados with his old mate Cliff. Now there is a pair who deserve each other. All you need is Michael Winner to pop in from Sandy Lane and you have the dinner party from Hell.

Was it - fair enough.
Then TB must just be a great bloke enjoying a holiday at friend's place.
I apologise for ever doubting him.
However, if he is so great why did he jump on the gravy train and become a politician?
