What Chiminea?
Posted by: Hammerhead on 28 May 2007
Hey folks,
Went to get a Chiminea from Homebase today (me man, me want to make fire!) which when unpacked at home had a cracked bottom section. Anyway, having a closer look at the rest of it, I concluded it didn't look like it would last a winter as the casting was quite thin so took it back and got a refund.
Now I've found this company that specialises in chimineas. Now these babies look a lot more substantial! However, which one to get?
There's this model which has a bbq plate a distance above the fire:
or this one where the bbq shelf is directly above your coals/logs etc:
So if there's any Chiminea experts out there, which one is the best for cooking??
Cheers,
Steve
