I used the standard Naim-supplied AMP brand ones - "MACOM (an AMP company... made in the UK... B35A70E010X" is all the detail on the wrapper if that's any help. They work nicely with the Ittok cable.
Try your dealer, or contact Naim directly failing that.

David,
Naim use 50R BNC's and I'd also strongly recommend sourcing the Tyco / AMP / M/A-COM parts. The Naim ones use silver plated body and centre contacts.
Use cable clamp / solder types (as per Rico's part number), not only are these much easier to assemble than almost any other manufacturer, they are more secure.
Farnell sell them (www.farnell.com) p.no. 309-266, although it states 'Only until stocks exhausted' which probably means M/A-Com have discontinued this part for an identically-performing new one (that uses less material and is lighter).
Andy.
P.S. Rico - did you get my email?

Folks,
Having gone from a Nait 1 rather rapidly to an 82 I'm looking to ditch the BNC/phono adaptors on my Ittok lead, but I’m having no joy in sourcing the M/A COM BNC's. I've tried various websites suggested here and elsewhere. A well-known north London Hi-Fi emporium tried to sell me some horrible large gold-plated numbers. Another well-known central London establishment (think "soggy") suggested the adapters make no difference. No harm or great expense in trying a hard-wired plug and I can make my own mind up. A call to Naim elicited the suggestion that I try RS but nothing very specific (to be fair, I may have mistakenly given them the impression that I have some competence or knowledge in this area). Can anyone suggest either an up-to-date source for the M/A COM's or the most appropriate alternative amongst the many in the RS catalogue.
Many thanks in anticipation.

I recently tried to fit BNC plugs (The ones that came with the preamp) to a cable and found it very difficult to dress it neatly. I never got to the soldering and eventually got it done by a professional with the right equipment and tools. I'ts definately a lot more difficult than RCAs or Dins.

BNC FOR ITTOK ARM CABLE
I have done this to my Ittok LV2 by soldering
Silver plated BNC´s from "RS".
The BNC i used was the Greenpar Silver plated
423-1927 (1-1478401) 50 ohm.
I soldered with normal Multicore solder(60-40).
Instructions are printed on the BNC´s package.
It will help if you have someting to clamp the cable so it will be still when soldering.
This is the most cost-effective upgrade I have done.
Good Luck!

maplin also do 50 ohm solder BNC plugs.
I replaced with Ittok with these, and it works fine.

David, have you a part number for those Maplin solder BNCs?

Hi,
I bought some from here:
http://www.custom-cable.co.uk
BNC plugs are an essential upgrade, just be sure to avoid any crimp on ones.

Thanks to all who responded.
Farnell carry a TYCO/AMP BNC plug part number 1-1478401-0. I presume this is what I am after.
