Agreed - which version though - director's cut or with the narrative?

Brad

It simply has to be the directors cut.
For me the narration ruins the film.
Light years ahead of its time, and the music inspired so many other artisits its untrue.

Perhaps, one day, we will finally get the true'directors' cut on DVD. The story that lies behind that is worthy of a film in itself, just do a google on bladerunner if you are a fan..

Pure magic. I love this movie. Cook some italian food, open a bottle of vino, get snugged up with your nearest and dearest and share three hours of bliss. Make sure it is the directors cut on DVD. Bene, molto bene.

Failing that it would have to be Laurel & Hardy - you can't help but laugh.

I used to live in Ulverston, in the lake district. Ulverston (the birth place of Stan laurel) boasts the worlds only Laurel & Hardy museum. They have a small flea pit type cinema and often on sunday having had a tradional roast lunch in the local I would get some coke and a lrge packet of maltesers and sit in the flea pit and watch my favourite Laurel & Hardy films (they play any you ask for). I always laughed out loud as did others. The museum items vary in quality enormously from signed letters and photos etc. to exhibits of jumpers which belonged to a friend of someone who lived next door to Stans parents gardener etc. This makes the museum (not much bigger than a double garage)all the more fun.
