Just a quick note to urge you all to see Jimmy Cliff live on his current tour. I went to see him last night at the Leadmill and he was awesome. I cannot believe how young he looked. One of the few legends still out there so catch him while you can.

Saw him last night at the Concorde2 in Brighton. Superb night, and a great selection of songs. Jimmy's enthusiasm was overwhelming. He did a cover of Wild World by Cat Stevens, which just shouldn't have worked. By the end of it tho', the whole crowd was rocking.

The other great thing about the concert was the backing band they were really fantastic musicians. I will definately see him again if I can. I am seeing Grandaddy next week which should be a different experience altogether.

Did they do those crazy 'medley' style intros? All those tempo changes had me dizzy, not to mention looking like an ass as I was trying to dance.
