Antenna Connector on Naim tuners

Posted by: Theodore on 14 September 2003

I am unfamiliar with the type of connector on Naim tuners used to attach an external antenna. Most antennas in the US that I've seen use a coaxial, screw on F connector. What kind of adapter do I need to use the coaxial cable? Thanks all.

Or even better yet, contact your local dealer and get the 'real' thing...(for a very nominal cost)

which tuner, btw?

What is the "real thing"?! I bought someone's old 01.

The real thing is to terminate your coax cable directly with a PAL connector and just bypass having to use a lossly adaptor. This sort of service was done by my dealer and came with the purchase of a new NAT-01. I never tried using adaptors, but I can say that the NAT-01 sounds nothing less than superb, even with only the lowly NATPS giving it juice.
