Mary Hansen - Stereolab

I found out yesterday that she was killed in a cycling accident last week. It was a shock as I hadn't read anything about it, not in the weekend papers or the industry press. Had anyone else heard? I'd only just started listening to their wonderful music, and was really looking forward to seeing them at some stage. It's such sad news.

A great shame indeed. She made a valuable contribution to a great band. There was a very good obituary in last Saturday's Guardian (14th)

I read the same obit and played Emperor Tomato Ketchup album just to remind me how great they were. Also , being a keen cyclist , the manner of her death was a double whammy.
