Hi Flame,
How is it going? Not long until the Eid holidays now. How long do you get off?

I read the other day that more British folk now attend mosques weekly than churches. This is a sign that contrary to Enoch's mumblings we are becoming truly multi-cultural.
Great, but what I want to know is, when are we going to get some more secular bank holidays to reflect this?

Do they count each visit? Once a week vs 5 times a day or week?

Hi guys;
Sorry I've been away from the padded cell for a while. David, we get 11 days off this year. Unfortunately, I'm covering shifts at the hospital this Eid.
Mat and Big, with the world having become a small village, I believe people are much more accepting of "others". I was born and raised in France and was always taught to have respect, acceptance and understanding towards people of another faith (or no faith). After all, we were a minority in France yet the treatment and respect I got from the French was remarkable.
When I moved to Saudi Arabia, I lived on a compound housing complex full of expats. I celebrated Christmas and loved decorating the trees with my neighbors.
I realize I'm going beyond the point of the thread, but the thoughts were stimulated by Mat's comment about the UK becoming multicultural. One can no longer live in isolation and for that embracing others with an open mind is the best way to do things
I find that when it comes to religious freedom and common living, Syria does set a great example. Syria has only a 60% muslim population with the remainder being Christian, Jew, Durzy among many other. A common phrase cherished by the Syrians is "Religion belongs to God, yet the country belongs to the whole people".
