What to connect to a Musicworks Megablock? Advice, please

Muchachos

I am about to take delivery of a 6 way megablock. My system uses two sockets, I feed the power through two Crabtree/Durablock/dead thick mains cable homebrew.

I understand that it is best to keep some bits away from others - any suggestions as to what should be on the 'block ( and in what order?? ) and what should go on the homebrew?

I have LP12/Lingo2, 82/Super, 135s plus a Rega Planet CDP and an ancient NAD tuner.

Thanks in anticipation - and I know I should get a spur - I will eventually.

Regards

Mike

From the Audioworks megablock flyer
connection order starting socket closest to cable inlet
source components
then
preamp
then
power amps

The term Megablock - has this always been the naome of the MusicWorks block or is it a more recent product - I have noticed several Megablocks on Ebay recently (looking at sale prices)

Does the word Megablock actually appear on the item.

Thanks

Thanks Bob.

Derek - the one I am awaiting is from eBay ( Kirasirabose (?) ) - I shall let you know about the names etc. Looks identical to me from the photo

the 'Block arrived today - it does not say MegaBlock, there are stickers saying Musicworks on the ( Crabtree ) mains plug and the main body.

I'll fit it tonight and report back

Looks like the genuine article. Also, it does improve the sound, IMO. Treble sweerer, less grainy overall and a noticeable improvement in bass definition on both CDP and LP. Money well spent as far as I am concerned.

They do work rather well in Naim systems, better than Hydras, even with a dedicated spur installed

It is worth experimenting with the plug order and trying both left and right sockets if your using a double, one will always sound better.

As the digital supply (XPS/Napsc) is usually the noisiest, plugging the pre or power 1st in line often produces better results

PS Theres another one now on Ebay
