The Eden Project II

Plans are now well advanced for our new, rather large conservatory, so large we've naimed it The Eden Project II. When built, this will free up our dining room, which I've commandeered to be my listening room.
The new conservatory will have a separate ring main added (for electric heaters, fans, roof vents etc.). This will entail running cables from the consumer unit to the conservatory via the dining room. This set me thinking...
Seagull: "While your sparky's got the floorboards up and running those cables from the consumer unit to the conservatory, would it be possible for him to run some separate spurs for the hi-fi?"
Salesman: "Whatever you want sir"
Seagull: "Ok, as the hi-fi will probably be sited close to the back wall would it be possible to plumb some speaker cables in along the conservatory wall so that they are hidden from view?"
Salesman: "Whatever you want sir."
Seagull: (Turning to Mrs S.) "Darling, could I have some new, shorter (5m), speaker cables to use in the new listening room and use my current 10m ones for this. Its only about £6 per meter."
Mrs S: "Whatever you want dear."
Seagull: "And can I get a wallshelf for the LP12? That would mean I can move my CD5 to the top of the rack..."
Mrs S: (Rolls eyes) "Whatever you want dear."
Seagull: (thinks: "I'm on a roll here") "Darling, could I also have an Ittok, as I am sure it would be a major upgrade over my Basik LVX"
Mrs S: (thinks: "What on earth is an Ittok, you've never mentioned one of those before") "Whatever you want dear."
Seagull: "And..."
Mrs S: (gives Seagull that look) "Don't push your luck"
If I did this, the leads in the conservatory would enable me to move the speakers in there for parties etc. without the hassle of moving the speaker leads and having them snaking along the floor. Bearing in mind that these newly embedded cables would be for occasional use only ...
Would the speakers be best placed along the long and firing across or along the short wall and firing down the length?
Should I leave the leads poking out of the wall and trying to hide them when not in use ? (Remember, this is NACA5 and Mrs S hates the sight of it, the rack end is not a problem as it would be disguised by the rest of the spaghetti.)
Would I be better off terminating them with wall mounted sockets and keeping two short lengths to connect between the sockets and the speakers? (I guess this would have more WAF but probably not sonically ideal)
Should I buy a second power amplifier and second pair of speakers and run them permanently? (Can you run 2 power amps passively from the same pre or do I need two pre-amps or can a Hicap be used in the middle to re-route to 2 power amps? Have I just answered my own question?)
Is this becoming a lifestyle system and should I sell all my Linn/Naim kit and by Bose instead?
