Last nights Gilmour gig

Just watching it now.

It seems a little retrospective and conclusury. He looks knackered and with Wright being seen playing with Waters I wonder if this is the end of Pink Floyd?

Opinions?

Look around for MP3's of a concert he did about a year and a half ago. When a fan shouted out "Play some Floyd", his reponse was immediate: "F*ck Floyd". Sure, it was in the moment, but...

They've had their day. I'd be more excited to see Gilmour play in a small hall here in SF, than I would to see PF in one more stadium mega-concert. The Pink Floyd are dead, long live Pink Floyd.

My $0.02USD smile

Where and how are you watching it, BTW?

Cheers

Keith.

There should be a law against it, old rockers playing stuff from years ago when they still had it in them to perform. Don’t get me wrong I have and still listen to old Floyd albums but so many groups or individuals carry on long after the spark has gone and end up sounding more like a pub band trying to be Pink Floyd (in this case)

Please go out on a high and don’t end up like music’s equivalent of Muhammad Ali

IMHO John.
