Strange crater on Google Earth....

Posted by: Tony Lockhart on 20 November 2008

Just wandering around The Wash on Google Earth when I stumbled on a large crater at 52 degrees 50'30.99"N 0 degrees 14'36.04"E.
Does anyone have any ideas? I did go to the range at RAF Holbeach back in the '80s to erm, dispose of some out of date explosives and bombs, but this is south east of there and quite unusual. Found nothing on a Google search.

That's just what they WANT us to believe. Winker

Funnily enough it dates from the same kind of period as the Rendlesham Forest flying saucer.
