Patty Griffin "Children Running Through"

Just received the new cd from the US of A of her new cd. I have been a great fan of Patty for many years and in my view has never made a bad album. Her latest is no exception, another cracker. If you like her music then this album is a must have.
I have only played it twice and I love it.

I also love Patty G. The new album in another good one. To date my 2 faves are 1000 Kisses and her first album, Living with Ghosts which in some respects is my absolute favorite. Truly a talented lady. Powerful voice and excellent songwriter. david

Pretty much agree with you. The thing I like most with "Living with Ghosts" its just soooooo raw although can be a bit loud at times. I seem to prefer the acoustic cds she has made.
Do you like Lucinda Williams? I'm still waiting for her latest "West", can't wait.

Jim I think the Patty Griffin is her best yet and as for the Lucinda I have had a copy for about 2 weeks now. I think it is also excellent. It is not the alt- country style of her last few discs but think the production is superb.
Another disc I thought very highly of recently was the new Holmes Brothers- State of Grace- great album but just about everything they have done is vg.
