They appear to only release an album once every decade or so - there could be a bit of wait for the next one!

I think they do various producing and the likes to keep themselves busy.

and it is the only gig I've ever been to that sounded like a hugely powerful and smooth Hi-Fi system.

Must have learnt something from those nice people at Linn who produced the first album.

Paul Buchanan's voice is just so.... pleading and emotive. 'Peace at Last' is also a cracking recording. Listen to the way the acoustic guitar is recorded on 'Tomorrow Morning'.

Superb. Is there a web-site?

If so let's bombard them with requests for a new album.

I'm not sure of they produced the first album (Walk along the Rooftops)..but they sure cut it with the modified cutting head being powered by (what else) a NAP250. In the US it was on another label (?A&M) which did not utilize a NAP-anything as the cutting amp.
Have any of you heard the 12" 45rpm of Walk along the Rooftops???? Stunning.

The Blue nile have an album out this year. Or next. Or sometime. You can't rush them, but apparantly there IS a new album being finished.

OVO is very good - hate the OVO rap with Neneh Cherry though - still at least PG didn't do it. Along with PB there's Alison Goldfrapp (uncredited on most OVO covers), Richie Havens (he copied Steve Hackett!), Liz Fraiser from the Cocteaus and others.

Sometimes over cluttered. But 'Father/Son' is his best ballad since the Exposure version of 'here comes The Flood'
