It's easy.
Upload the pic from your HD in Imageshack.
Then push "host it".
You will have a list of directories to choose.
I took the one "Hotlink for forums".
Copy and paste the line in the "Display image - UBBcode" in the toolbar where you find the smilies, here in the answer box.
Click "ok" and then "post now".

I was getting all sorts of extra duplicated rubbish in the URL.

Don't upload it in Imageshak as an URL but as a FILE.
Then click "host it".
Then copy the line in "hotlink for forums".
Open the dialog icon in the aswer box of the forum "Display image UBBcode".
Paste there the line and then click "ok".
Then click "post now".
Try again.

When you click "reply" you have the window opened.
There's a line of buttons and commands that starts with the smilies and the one before the last is to open.
It's name is "image url".
Paste there the line you have copied from Imageshack and the click "ok".
Then click "post now" in the reply window.

In Imageshack copy the line in "Direct link to image" and then paste it.

Guys the idea is you host your pictures to your personal page on Imegshack. When you look at your page of images there are embeddable codes displayed to the right of them which look something like this =IMG]hxxp://imgxxx.imageshack.us/imgxxx/9920/naimmug9oj.jpg[/IMG]

You don't have to use any of the buttons in the message bar. You just paste the "embeddable code" statement for "Forums" right into your message.

LIKE SO:

If you right click on the picture and ask for properties it will show you the URL for the picture.
