Dear Friends,
Again, we are faced with leading riders being caught out abusing their sport and drugs. Does anyone have any respect or interest in this spectacle?

Highlights are shown twice daily on ITV4 (a freeview channel) 7-8 p.m. and repeated sometime after midnight. Same commentators as I ever can remember, just the channel has changed.

Thanks for that Peter (I have ITV4, so I will look out for it). That said, I'm sure the C4 programme used to go on ages (perhaps I was just younger!).

Trust me - an hour of the dynamic duo commentating can make an hour seem like a journey across a desert on foot in search of an oasis! The coverage is good though.

i look forward to the TdF every July - i don't miss a single stage. George Hincapie will win this year. i'm also glad Robbie McEwan is having a great start - i hope he can take the green jersey this year.
i hope that cycling will continue to gain popularity in the u.s.. our dependance on fossil fuels and climbing obesity rates here in the u.s. are most disturbing. i look forward to my 12 mi. round-trip commute to work each day on my old Trek.
i think cyclists and nordic skiers get an unfair bad rap in the press. but it pisses me off to see that some athletes feel the need to dope. i think it speaks volumes about the sport when such scrutinty and swift action is taken by the authorities to keep it clean. get rid of the dopers for good please!
the same cannot be said about popular sports int the u.s.. the fact that Barry Bonds and the rest of his ilk are allowed to play is sadening. it's even more depressing that our youth in this country worship these cheaters, thugs, and crack-heads. i guess it's comically entertaining on some level.
get a bike. get your family some bikes and go for a ride. we live on a beautiful planet - let's see it and leave it that way.
the Revolution will be riding bicycles and wearing headphones!
