Am I missing something here? Geoff I thought that normal twottering was done by birds of a feather? Is there some other kind - some horrible creation of the computer era, perhaps?

Oh, my first thought was whistling, thought you might have a slang I didn't know.
I worked at Sea World in San Diego for a while, one of the older maintenance guys really had a talent at whistling. A couple of us landscapers walked with him and I asked why he'd retired and taken up another job. His reply "My wife kicked me out because the whistling drives her nuts" We all had a good laugh.
That used to be something people would do back in 50s and 60s, nobody seems to do it anymore. Butcha need to be good, really good.

I twitter. I guess just because its new and mildly techie. Jet Johnson and I Twitter on to each other. I follow Wossy and Stephen Fry but to be honest havent taken any notice of what they say. I'm active on myspace, bookface and now Twitter..................... well i've got many children i don't get out much.
