The Perfect Uniti

1. Remove current CD player/transport and replace with Uniti Serve.
2. Increase power to 80Wx2.

To me, makes a lot of sense. I would buy this configuration in a heartbeat. One box heaven!

David, what speakers will you use for the show?

Why, S-400s in rosewood, of course!

Err, that'd be the n-Stream app w/ NDX - testing on NDX / NAC282 / CDX2 as I type. Best $200 remote I know of.

Hi David........Any hope that you will post your impression of the NDX for us soon, now that you have one to play with.......I mean test?

David, the combination you are testing will certainly appeal to the Classic series customers but not necessarily to Uniti customers.

Speaking for myself here: one major reason why we chose NaimUniti is because we precisely do NOT want multiple boxes. Separate components are actually viewed negatively, not as an improvement.

Two different solutions for two customer segments I think.

The exact opposite of the usual acquisitive instinct to collect boxes and bits of kit. Too many connections needing too many interconnects.

For me the music is the most important component and I went digital years ago. The solutions for those of us who love the Uniti et al needs to be simple - bit like ourselves. Anyone with the cash can buy lots of expensive boxes especially if you are the Russian president.

Adding again to the list:

- Would like the ability to hardcode IP adress of UPnP servers inside the Uniti as "prefered" servers

The goal of this feature would be to make UPnP discovery/connection more robust.
