Support Your Local Hi-Fi

Comments would be appreciated as to equipment supports under NAIM Cd players, Pre/Powers and flatcaps.

I have a Soundstyle metal rack with glass shelves and have found that fiddling around with supports does make a difference (I have settled on blutacking the glass shelves to the frame - it gives a balance of openess of glass shelves but with a nice 'solidness' too)- like everyone else I have tried bluetack under kit but that dulls it and of course stacking doesn't work either. So clearly supports make a difference to my ears but given the huge array of options out there I want to narrow the options and that's where you come in.

Anyone with experience of vaious spikes, Tenderfeet, Russ Andrews Oak Cones, Voodoooo/Townsend air supports etc.?

Now Naim would seem to favour spikes judging by the FRAIM but, if so, why not spike the kit direct?

(FRAIM is waaayy out of budget by the way...)

Regards, as ever ...

There is only one: Mana Acoustics. Mana racks work very well with Naim electronics. I have 2 reference tables, 2 soundframes and 2 soundbases and I want more....

I've got some stands unique carbon isolators under my CDX, 82 and 250. They seem to help the timing. (Also very cheap @ £20 per pack of 3 feet.)
