what mains lead comes with naim NAP140 or any poweramp

Hi people

I think I may have the wrong mains lead plugged into my NAP.

I moved my equipment around and put what I thought was the right one.

I have two leads one is 10A and one is 5A, the 10A is the one that is plugged in at the moment.

Can people tell me what lead they have on thiers or which is the right one?

The 5A mains lead looks better quality and has lots of quality stamps on it, also the letters CX on the end that plugs into the poweramp.

The reason why I want the right mains lead on is that I hear popping from my speakers when the fridge switches on, and I don't remember that happening in the first few weeks of use. Also system varies in quality now and then.

Cheers

All my NAIM leads have black plugs!

To err is human; to really foul it up requires a computer.

check to see if the IEC end of your power cable has a copper female end , all Naim cables have this for many years now....yes it does make a difference

I'm pretty sure that some of my Naim leads have black moulded plugs.
However, I'd recommend looking at [URL=http://www.venhaus1.com/]VenHaus and [URL=http://www.audiotweaks.com/diy/bobcrump_pc/page01.htm]Bob Crump, and think about making up your own.
