Thanks from an ex-lurker

Hi to one and all,

Thought I'd make my first post a thank you for the entertainment and information you have all provided me with over the past couple of months "lurking".

My quandry was whether to go for a new Nait5 or 2nd hand pre / power. After extensive use of the search facility and reading some fascinating threads I am now the proud owner of a 72/140 combination.

I won't bore you all with how it blows away my previous amp, but when I played the first side of vinyl my wife and I just couldn't stop grinning. That was from cold, with QED speaker cable and BNC adapters for my Sondek. All 3 have now been remedied and it just kept on getting better.

Now all I have to do is find the money for some new speakers, and a HICAP, and a 'Geddon and....

Oh oh, the bug has bitten!

Hi,

I'd like to second Steve and thanksfor all the help you have provided, unknowingly. I am now the proud owner of a 3.5 w/flatcap + 92/90. Wonderful boxes. Great sound, cool looks.

Now all I have to do is raise the money for new speakers, new rack, hicap...

The bug has bitten, indeed.
