Yeah but yeah but - what about heresy? Heresy is far worse - heretics deserve a good torturing or killing like in the good old days. Back then if anyone (God forbid) suggested that the clergy should be poor like Jesus they could get a jolly good torturing for days on end. This is a really important matter. It was not long ago that one could be burnt as a witch because you uttered an incantation before administering a herbal remedy to a sick person but now the church has gone soft. Harry Potter should be banned and the author burned at the stake too. Sexually abusing a child and scarring him for life is nothing compared to being a heretic or a witch. But these days the church has its work cut out explaining to the great unwashed why using a condom actually increases the spread of AIDS and performing exorcisms to battle Satan so let’s all try to be a little more understanding shall we and donate an entire months income to the Catholic church before it has to sell its last one thousand priceless paintings or recruit women to the priesthood.
