Just watched the David Beckham - New Beginnings Documentary on ITV2 (I know it's probably a repeat but I don't watch much TV) and it was very illuminating.
As a Scotsman, I have to say what a nice and surprisingly articulate guy (at least it was edited that way!).
Good stuff and a tremendous insight into the life of a celeb.
I can't believe I just wrote that - must be going soft!
Cheers
Jim

I can't stand football and the people in the sport now are usually the type who would otherwise be in prison, but David Beckham...well, I won't hear a bad word about him.
The guy is just a genuine, decent, humble family man who has his priorites right (his kids) and I think he deserves to be an icon. In fact, for the kids out there today who look to celebrities for their role models, you couldn't have wished for anyone better. Shame about his plastic vacant wife, but there you go..he is a footballer isn't he, we mustn't forget that. I think she's alright really and soon she'll grow up - she's just temporarily forgotten herself.
Also Katie Price & Peter Andre. I did some design work for their house a year or two ago. They are such simple souls really and they'll never be on Mastermind, but they are very very sweet people. Again, I won't hear a bad word said about them.

No Howard. I know it's the Padded Cell and we have to be provocative here or all conversation will completely dry up (and it very nearly has), but in this case I really do think they are lovely people. Honest. Straight up. No kidding.
No...really.
