Hi Nuno. Regarding sound quality I don't know. However, the flatcap can only power one unit where the flatcap2 can power both your cdplayer and your amp. So a question might be if 2 old flatcaps would be better than one flatcap2..... Upgrading is sometimes complicated. Are you buying new or 2nd hand?

Hi Nuno. If you're looking for a PSU for your current sistem, the obvious choice would be the FC2! It will power both the Nait and the source! so think of the sistem sinergy - they are all of the same generation!

Herm. The cost of a new flatcap2 is maybe equal to 2 old flatcaps? What would be better in Nunos SISTEM? And as a former owner of a flatcap I must say it might be better to get a hicap or two from the beginning.

Just added a FlatCap2 to my Nait 5 last week.
Wow!!! I'm now hearing instruments I didn't know where there before and the sistem can be played louder and stays clean.
