Green custard parked on Mandy

I do not and cannot condone this, of course. Nevertheless, this is an immensely satisfying news moment.

I think when interviewed on the street the woman said "it's no slimier than what runs through his veins..." How true.

I'm not so sure about this.

While I am hardly his greatest fan and without wishing to be too po faced about this...it must at times be unerving to be in public office and have people approach you. And there would have been a terrifying point, however brief, when he wondered exactly what was in the stuff being thrown at him. Green slime, excrement, anthrax..?

I think there are better, less scary ways to make a point.

Next time strap him into a chair and tell him what they're going to do first.

Well, I just don't like Mandy. He is a slimey green little shit for sure. But...........

I don't like that plane stupid little woman either. I am sick to the teeth of self-serving little shits like her, who seem to think they have the RIGHT answer to everything and believe they are RIGHT to shove their stupid little ideas down everybody else throats accompanied by violence and disruptive protest. Just who the F**k does she think she is. IMHO she only has the right to peacefully explain her point of view, and the rest of us have the right to listen to her, agree with he or ignore her etc as we choose.

She should be arrested and charged with some sort of public order offence and brought to justice. not so much for Mandy, but for the sake of peaceful co-existance and common descency.

Meanwhile, at the next election, we should make sure we get rid of little shits like Mandy.

Cheers

True,

But he could certainly be chopped down to size if Gord wasn't the next PM.

........along with a few others like Harriet, Hazel, Jackie. Nothing wrong with lady MPs in general, but for the life of me, I'm struggling to come up with any half decent ones in the current government, or even parliament!

I suppose I'm inclined towards getting rid of all the nancy boys and ladies, Gordon and his mates, all the old codgers over 55 and all the young whippersnappers under 40.....

Jeepers, and I thought I was open-minded.

Cheers

Your wish is their command:

Police say they have arrested environmental campaigner Leila Deen after an incident in which green custard was thrown at Lord Mandelson.

The business secretary was confronted before he was due to take part in a low-carbon summit in London.

He told the BBC's Andrew Marr Show of his "surprise" his attacker had been able to avoid security outside the Royal Society on Friday morning.

Ms Deen, of Brighton, has been bailed to return at a police station in April.

Lord Mandelson said the custard had given him a "slight" facial irritation.

The police are not obliged to investigate an incident of this kind unless a formal complaint has been made.

Ms Deen, who is a member of the Plane Stupid campaign group, said after the incident that Lord Mandelson was targeted because of his support for a new runway at Heathrow airport.

Lord Mandelson also told Andrew Marr that he was "slightly surprised" his attacker "could just saunter off without being apprehended".

Home Secretary Jacqui Smith told Sky News' Sunday Live programme: "I don't think in a democracy where people are able to speak up that anybody should chuck custard at anybody in the street. It's not appropriate."
