need a capacitor

Can anybody suggest a suitable power supply capacitor (say 8000 to 15000 mf) that is available domestically. Who makes good ones over here?

I use Farnell here in the UK.I am sure they have branches in the US.Any from Seimens(now Evox)BHC,Panasonic etc would be fine.
