this is what occupies my free time when i'm not listening to music.

i'm not much for Harley's but if you want to talk KTMs, BMWs, Moto Guzis, Nortons, MV Agusta, I'm all ears.

Not Moto, certainly not Harley, but certainly designed for cross-country:

A 1941 Royal Enfield "CO" model, 350 cc single cylinder despatch rider's bike, in the black livery of the post war decommission.

I rebuilt this bike!

Nice one George.

If all works out I'll be riding an Enfield through India this fall.

Better to get off once they're stopped in my experience. Get well soon.

Ooof that looks nasty. In my case I had total brake failure hence silly speed. Got away with plate and seven screws in the collour bone..

Hey ho, have officially retired.. bought a Nap500 with money I was saving for next year... which is some compensation I guess.. Big Grin

I really like the /5s Max.

This is the only airhead I have left in my garage. I suppose I will always have an airhead.

My BMW was a very good bike, it never let me down, just ordinary care.

As for the Velosolex, it's another story. It belonged to a very dear friend - one I've been knowing for more than 40 years, met him first day of Middle School - who died last September, and I asked the widow to have it. He drove it till the very last weeks.

It's a dear memory. And the greatest bike ever.
