DAB in Edinburgh

Does anybody out there (especially those in Edinburgh) have experience of the aeriel requirements for DAB.
Specifically will I get away with a simple indoor type or will I have to get something put on the roof. I know that the better aerial I have the better the performance I'll get, but I'm trying to cut corners here to save some money.
