cheshire spur action

well ive put it off for at least a year now but ive finally brought in a sparky to get it all installed, a tenby distribution board, mcbs and rcds, 3 32 amp spurs, 2 to the main hifi and one to the second hifi, terminated in standard switchless crabtree sockets, standard naim cables with standard crabtree sockets, all fuses as factory shipped.
first impressions, not much difference when plugging the main hifi hydra into a 32 amp spur, but once id plugged the 250 into its own dedicated spur the whole thing came alive....the sound is just phenomenal, its almost like i now have electrostatic speakers. it sounds just great! if anybody wants the number of a understanding sparky in the manchester area then i'll post it later on...without a doubt, a dedicated consumer unit is a must. not sure if this is good or not but the sparky says that the voltage coming into the house is 247volts (the substation was completely replaced at christmas as the whole area had long persistant brownouts)
