A real mix of cars. Looks great. Has anyone here ever tried a lap?

What does it cost Tony and how far from London is it? Can it be done in a weekend? My wife just asked me this morning if I'd like to go away somewhere

It's raining now. The driver of that early 911 I've just spied will be having a most interesting time

I've been round in a 2 litre soft top.
Well, it was my Army short wheel base Landrover! Popped in for a quick lap ( without asking!) whilst on exercise in the area in 1980.....took rather a long time to get round and the other cars' drivers doing practise laps were a bit surprised to say the least. At least the cam nets rolled up on the roof didn't fall off on the track. When we exited from the circuit the officials seemed too gobsmacked to say anything!

The Ring is without a doubt, the best, most involving track I've ever driven. If you have never been, it's definatly worth the trip. Just don't go too mad for the first fews laps, get to know the place a little first.
If you are thinking of doing it on a bike, be bloody careful, there seem's to be more bikers involved in accidents than any other vehicle when I've ben there.
If you get the bug, you can purchase a season ticket for around 550 euros, which is a real steal.
Best Regards
Gerald

Thanks for the info Gerald.
I'm not sure that this is what Laraine meant for a weekend away! One things for sure, I've had enough of visiting cathedrals and roman ruins!
