All Things Must Pass: G.Harrison

I picked up a 3 LP boxed set of this 2nd hand yesterday. I paid 8 quid for it. I was wondering if it might be worth more?

The cover is a bit worn down the spine but the LPs are in excellent condition. There are track listing notes printed on the inside of the cover.

All Things Must Pass is still available on vinyl for £21.98. I have a copy in perfect condition that I bought when it first came out. I wouldn't class it as a rarity - we're not in Wimple Winch or Tintern Abbey territory, I'm afraid. If I were you I'd keep it and play it lots - it is well worth the £8 you paid for it.

If it were the Japanese pressing on red vinyl then I'd expect it be worth £250+.

180g Vinyl Edition - brand new available from European Records at £25

Seconded. It won't be worth much dosh but Beware of Darkness, I'd Have You Anytime and ATMP are just some of the fantastic songs on a great album.

Might not be worth much but what an album!! I bought my first copy in Germany when it came out and completely wore it out within 2 years. I'm on my third vinyl set and have the CD set as well.

ROTF,

Thanks for the pic. The front of mine is a kind of sepia "colour". I've only played the first side. The sound is a bit muddy, I have to say. Perhaps its a poor pressing? I gave it a good clean on my Nitty Gritty and has a quiet background so I think its clean enough.

Brucie, you probably have the original pressing from back in the day ... that cover was sepia. The one shown here above is the remastered pressing, which I haven't heard, but I did get the CD version, which sounds wonderful ... much better than the original LP.

All best,
Fred
