international distributors and pricing

I went over to my friendly neighborhood dealer for some NACA5 today. they're plugging it up, and before i pick it up, i'd like to double-check there isn't some unnatural markup here.
they're asking for CHF 40 per meter, which comes out to about 18 quid at the current exchange rate. a quick check over at graham's came out with a price of 7 quid a meter, which not only makes more sense given the reputation for cheapness NACA5 has, but also makes it somewhat look like someone is shipping the stuff in disposable gold boxes...
anybody else noticed these sort of interesting occurences in their neighborhood ?

My price is around 100US for a 4m pair (8m in total) without termination and plugs in my region.

Matt,
That price is well over the top. Why not buy some in the UK and get it posted out to you - even with carriage, it'll still be way cheaper than your local dealers price. You wont pay VAT so that could save another 17.5% off the UK price.

David

PS: There's a terminated 4.5m pair here on eBay - current price £50 with 2 days to go. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3036852153&category=295

david, thanks a lot for the link...
a double check with the distributor this morning, and with my friendly neighborhood dealer when the cable was picked up this afternoon sorted things out. it appears the guy was tired, and mistook the pricing for NACA5 with a cobra cable they like to pair with naim amps. the cobra is indeed twice the price of naca, which therefore came down to about 9 quid, slightly up from the distributor's suggested retail of 8.2 .
which makes for a mutually acceptable markup given where we were comming from...
