old (62) vs new (202)

For a while, i had a friend's 62/140 with me. Didnt try them until today.

Btw, i am using cd5/202/hi/200/SBL.

I slotted in the 62 into my sistem.

It was fun and groovy... so much fun.. dont sound very clean, but it was just fun and forward.. right smack in my face.

So i changed back to the 202.

Ah! Much cleaner, bigger sound, but dont seems as much fun, but it was easier on the ears.

Which do i prefer? I dont know. Need more time.

Try whacking a Supercap on the 62

That'll give you serious pause for thought Wink

I just swap the 62 in place of the 202, though strictly speaking not a direct swap, cos the 202 was on my pARTicular, whereas the 62 was on my m**a reference table.

I could quite easily put the 62 on my pARTicular though.
Maybe i will do that. Will report back.

*wonders to myself* Should i have gone for the old series instead?
