SBL Set-Up

The last time I'd resealed my SBLs was around 6 months ago, and since then I've made quite a few upgrades, but over the last 3 months I've settled with my current system (not a single change just tweaking)...
My system was 'spot-on' musically, but for some reason I felt compelled to reseal the SBLs, my last attempt was a bit lame, but it was late and I thought whatever.
Anyway I managed to keep the speakers in position and just reseal the mid-section, amps/speakers connections all remained on - I find I can remove the drive units without resorting to switch off.
After resealing I left the SBLs for nearly 24hrs, before playing any tunes, no specific reason for this, just a busy weekend.
The result, quite a shocking improvement (for the better), bass was deeper, there was more bite/attack to the mid/high frequencies, and everything just sounded more dynamic and bouncier, I didn't think SBLs could get any faster - but they still manage to present the tunes in a relaxed fashion.
I recall JV saying many years ago, that SBLs can sound dreadful with poor set-up - I just never realised they were that sensitive.
