Reverse DIN lead length limit?

Posted by: rackkit on 23 August 2010

I'm looking at locating the AV bits (AV2, NAP175) in a separate rack to the rest of the system (282/SCAP2/250.2) but this will mean needing a longer reverse DIN lead, maybe up to 7m in length.

Can the longer length cause any problems?

Cheers,

Rack.

Rack,

yes, the interconnect will need to be "slugged". Contact your dealer or Naim for their recommendation here. From what I recall when I went this path (about 8m) I think it should be about 100 ohms but may be wrong - it was a good few years back.
