Who gets Naim car stickers?

Posted by: HTK on 08 July 2005

Followed a Volvo through my neck of the woods this afternoon with a large Naim sticker on the back window. Guess it's s dealer/agent/rep/employee. Just curious.

I think they might give you a sticker if you buy a 500/552 combo.... Big Grin I saw NAIM T-shirts on Ebay for sale. Most definately counterfiet

Somehow I think I'm going to be able to hold out!

Me too. Don't really want the whole neighbourhood knowing that there's a fancy Naim system in my house. Eek

Quite so. But I was interested.

I keep the rack in an understairs cupboard. Apart from the (fairly discrete) speakers, visitors don't need to know. Which is how I like to keep it.

Cheers

About 5 years ago naim were giving them away at hifi shows.

Recently a complete muppet was on the forums trying to sell them for 30 quid each, snigger.

I had an old black one with silver / chrome bumper edge and green on/off button, couldnt get it off the back window of my cortina when i scrapped it. JV gave it to me in the Naim carpark about 20 years ago,

You think the "average joe" will know what they are looking at when viewing Naim gear. To the uninitiated it may be a stack of computer servers! Big Grin

This could be true. We had a rewire last year which was a not-to-be-missed opportunity to put a dedicated spur in. The builder (who we know quite well) took one look at the Chord Odyssey speaker cable and said ‘You’ve got a good system. Why are you still using that bell wire stuff’…….

The builder posed a good question.
