skipping cd3.5

i have a slight problem with my cd3.5 .
i have had it for two years now and am very pleased with it. But lately it doesn't play the cd's correctly. during a number it skipps parts of the song or worse stops playing at all. the cd's are clean and have no dammage on the surface of the cd. i have checked the cd's by putting them in the cd5 of my brother. No problem there. has anybody encountered this problem before and does any one know a solution.

Go for the puck first, if the rubber feet collapse it will skip or make err messages. Clean the puck and don't leave cd's in the cd3. You can buy a new puck or just carefully rotate the rubber feet in it and try again. Ted

Read the user manual, it explains how to clean the plater and the puck.
If this is not enough, you dealer will be able to clean the lens.
