Ten Years After remasters

Not everyone's cup of tea I'm sure, but the new Deram remasters are outstanding for old TYA fans.
Undead is my favourite, as we now get the whole concert in its correct sequence. Brilliant recording for its time and location. TYA at their best, just on the cusp of moving from jazz to the rock-blues that made them famous.
The absence of Sssh is odd as I'm sure it sold more than all of the others apart from Cricklewood Green. I hope Decca didn't lose the masters!

My vinyl original of "Watt" saw too many parties to play these days, so is the CD worth a gamble?

On the subject of remasters, my local HMV has amidst the sale racks Little Feats "Waiting for Columbus" (Double CD with extra tracks) for £9.99. Still good value even if you have the vinyl and early CD issues.

It's also worth checking out the nearest Woolworth's sale remnants - have just picked up Floyd's "Echoes" for £8.99 but without the cardboard outer.

Cheers.
