What is the best in a NOT totally dark room.
Any downsides to either.

When buying a screen, try and get one that produces 6500K whites with your projector.
You also have to take in the effect of screen gain as well.
You really can't go wrong with starting with a quality matte white, 1.0 gain fixed screen that is 1/2 the length of your viewing distance on its diagonal.
The OS Screen range from Japan is a nice screen. I hear Screen Research from France are excellent too.
