Abandoned dogs.

Human being best friends.
I know how much these few words can be true as my mind goes back to my old, beloved dog.
As i do every month i bring provisions to a dog pound here in the area and watching in those eyes behind cages kill me everytime.
If there's a dog pound in your area bring some help.
Only few coins can buy some food that, in case you can't take someone of them home, can help anyway.
I send you a link to an international organization that works in Romania to help those creatures to survive.
http://www.canibucarest.it/
Take a look at pics and ask yourself if few money is enough worth to be given away.
I have no kind of personal interest in all this.
But seeing them alive again makes me feel better.
Hope you too.
Thanks a lot!

My neighbour has just bought a staffordshire bull terrior. I feel so sorry for the poor little thing, he is always outside crying.

In next life, I would like to come back as Elizabeth Taylor's dog.

In next life, I would like not to come back.

My friend's neighbour took a two months old retriever last autumn.
He let the pup outside for weeks, nights and days, in the rain with no shelter.
I told him i hoped, and i still do, he could one day get the same treatment.
Piece of ****!

I have a parrot. She is soooo cute. Really affectionate (african Grey). She has just started talking. She is about 1 year old.

I used to work from home a lot, then June I had to go back to office full time. Within months she started feather plucking. I think she was sooo spolit that she craved the afffection. I now bring her into work daily so she does not get bored at home alone.

Her current words are:

"Go to school" (that is me screaming at the kids in the morning that they have to go to school so hurry up)

"Sod the world "... My favourite saying

"Hello Big Bird"

" Hello Beautiful"

A range of baby screams and other strange noises.

"Woo Hoo" whenever I play K T Tunstall Track 4 i think. She sings along.

Nice one!
My dog was use to come upstairs where i was playing and recording keybord and making music with the computer.
But she always waited outside the door with such eyes like saying: I can't stand this!

Had two rather large Oscars once (fish). One used to chase the other and in the middle of the night it broke out of the tank (even though top on tank) and flopped to the floor.

Luckily I was up and managed to save it. Being rather dim I assumed it was a one off. A week later the same happened, but this time i was asleep. Poor thing.

Snap-er-dogh. Bløødy Oscars sounded like somebody was stirring the tank with an oar! An Osphronemus Gouramy nearly 30" long can move a bit of water too. Decades ago now, thankfully. Roll Eyes

Again Guys!
If you can just spend only few coins just bring some provisions to a dog's pound near you.
That's doing a very nice thing!

It certainly is!

I'm sorry for fussing!
But i think that, in our rushing life, we can get a minute to spend on creatures.
Someone could say i do not consider troubled humans and that's fair.
But i love dogs and this could be considered a limit, only a selfish point of wiev, or the best thing.
Don't know.
It's me and my feelings.
Anyway...........it's a good thing to do and good things reflect on anything around and make our life better.
Thanks EW for considering.

As a boy I had a goldfish which was a fitness fanatic - everytime I took it out of the bowl and put it on the table it did 20 sits ups!

Ooooh noooo it lived to a ripe old age and when it died we buried it at sea, well, you know....we flushed it down the loo with full naval honours (my father had been in the Royal Navy). Pets are necessary for children, it helps to teach them about dying.

Pets are necessary to teach about respect for life in which death is only a part.
I think.
