Earlier versions had the non-ridged volume knob and a red LED.

All had 3 inputs; Phono (MM only via RCA), Tuner (DIN) and Tape (DIN).

All were great fun musically and proved without a doubt that JV could easily get a quart out of a pint box.

Whoops, I guess I was a little slow on the draw on that one.

Curious as to what the extra DIN is for on the NAIT 3R vs the regular NAIT 3.

I assume the the two 'REFER TO MANUAL' DINs are for splitting/Capping said device but what is that left most one for on the 3R?

I think the left most dinn was a 'choice' connector, in other words you could remain with a din input or by cutting a few wires inside you could have the phono input. if your dosn't appear to work its likely the phonoes do.
