Adam's sense of the "quietly-understated" seems to have gone 'orribly awry.
For god's sake don't let him anywhere near a paint shop! If only he had chosen a paler, "dirty" dark green to go with the lighter "dirty" green it might even have been quate nace. Or even not.

Just an observation but ignoring colours for a moment, the "Topic" column appears to be much too narrow compared to the "Topic Starter" and "Last Post" columns.
It's doing this in Safari, Camino and Firefox so I don't think it's a browser issue.
