Any "must see" Aussie bands on in concert?

Posted by: blythe on 12 September 2005

I'm heading down under for several weeks and in the past have seen various people in concert including Sam Hawksley, Keith Urban, The Borderers, Kylie, Jimmy Barnes and also some others; The Eagles, Shania Twain, Shirley Bassey etc.

Is there anyone in Sydney worth seeing between Sept 17th and October 21st?

I lean towards rock/country/rock but also like shows like Kylie and Bassey.

Any help would be appreciated Smile

Thanks Bazz,

I'll look into some of those!

Sounds odd that Queen would be on at a "Workers Club"...... Well, in the UK most workers clubs are a bit rough, unlike any I've been to in Australia!

Thanks again, Martin.

I just did a search and it's actually "Queen - Champions Of The World" so I guess it's actually a tribute band!

Cheers, Martin.

You're right of course, not Queen, just a bunch of Queens, and "Workers club" is something of a misnomer, there's quite a few of them around and you don't see many blue singlets or hobnailed boots (except maybe on the Queens)
