I saw this in the FT weekend edition and thought I should share this example of taste from across the pond. http://www.waterfallaudio.com/Us/usindex.html they can be found hidden deep in the www.bbg.eu.com site. They have managed to make it across the water, does anyone know how they sound? I think they may be "for decoration only" but I am none too sure.

At least they'd be a snap to clean. A bit of Windex and off you go.
On the other hand, fingerprints would be a problem. And then there'd be the birds trying to fly through them, so you'd have to put those hawk outlines on them...
Then someone would recommend replacing the panes with colored glass to improve the sound.
But your crystals and amber would just shake right off...

Saw these today at the scottish HI FI show in glasgow. They were on static display so did'nt hear them. Probably for the best
