Saw a Jaguar X-Type with the plate TW02 JAG and thought it better suited to John Prescott.....

Have seen W15ARD done to look like WIZARD on a Jag. That was very noticeably though illegally done.

Of course there was the plate EM TA3 driven by a young lass, but the PC brigade here in NZ ordered the plate off the road.

I have seen a MILF in a new jag with the plate B0T0X several times, around manchester I think.
She must have faked up the plate as well as her face since "0" isn't allowed as a number-plate numeral.
The late, great John Entwistle had "FAL 1C" on a Rolls Royce Shadow Shootingbrake!

Seen today on a Vauxhall Tigra driven by a woman of some attractiveness (at least from behind!), WHO5 SHE.

on second thoughts it may have been B8T8X with screws placed accordingly.
either way, I thought it was great

Could've been either "BOT 8X" or "B8 TOX" with screws placed accordingly!...
All UK personalised plates either conform to UK plate regulations or were previously issued numbers that have been adopted. Zero isn't allowed as a numeral on its own or at the start of a number, so "10 F" would have been issued as a number (it would have actually been the tenth plate ever issued in Essex!) and "1 OF" (issued in Birmingham circa 1962) has no zero in any case, it's a letter "O".

Gotta say I loved the story about the poor guy in the USA who, after 9/11, had to hand in his personalised plate and get a new one. It was a real personalised plate - it had his name on it:
JIHAD

End of the eighties I saw a blond girl in a Ferrari in San Francisco on the Bay bridge with sprd m (or a slightly different configuration, it was quite clear it had something to do with...., well you can all guess as we did) on her license plate.

There's a shitty old Golf convertible that smokes around Cheltenham with the plate:
