Preamp is never "quiet"

Hi everyone-
I have a 32.5 preamp that, despite the volume pot being in the lowest position, never seems to be quiet. If a signal is playing through the selected input, I get a hint of sound sneaking through. It's enough of a hint to be heard from a few feet away. Is this typical? Just want to make sure there isn't something wrong in my system.

Nothing to worry about, all Naims do this to some extent, the significant variable being how sensitive your speakers are.

Try the MUTE position, it should be quieter.
