Powerbox
If this is Naim's recommendation for a distribution block, then it works!
I like the way the power cords are kept physically separated from each other; the entire design looks like a miniaturised albeit very simplified version of a space shuttle to Mars.
Another goodie to get.
Good listening all, the music's groovin' frightfully more.

Who makes the cable exercising weights?
Why has there been no thread on the subject of interconnect workouts?
Does the sound become muclebound?

Guys,
this is not a Naim product. As clearly indicated on the sticker, it is a Music Line product. Music Line are the German Naim importer.

Markus,
Are you sure this is not a Naim piece of kit? If you look at the Losbox in the picture below it would appear to have a Naim logo on the front at the bottom yet also has "Music Line" on the display card?
Power tube price would appear to be about £550 by my rough and ready £:Euro conversion. Expensive for a distribution block I think but would be interested to hear it.
Rgds,
Tom

Tommy,
Markus is spot-on. This is the distributor's, err ..., distributor, i.e. a Music Line product (soon to be released under the name of POWERIGEL). I think it uses the original Naim power cords.

Howard, this is the famous WBT display, they have been doing this at shows for years. It is to demonstrate the stump-pulling strength of their locking RCA's If you use interconnects fitted with their locking RCA plugs, you can pick up your Mark Levinson amplifier by the cables if need be (as one often does). I have never understood the rationale of locking RCA plugs, unless one lives in Tokyo, San Francisco, or another city that staddles a fault line. In 30+ years in the hobby, I have never had an interconnect fall out of it's socket, even during the darkest days of playing Led Zepplin on 11! Oh, the older I get, the better it was.......
By buying these wonderful examples of Tutonic engineering, you not only get crap sounding plugs, but your kit becomes theft proof as well!
