Recently saw this chap supporting Willy Mason, he was very good and if you like Willy Mason, Brett Dennon, Freddie Stevenson etc, his debut album is well worth a listen.
BTW Willy Mason was superb live.

Just booked to see him at The Borderline London on 11th July. The son of actor Antony Perkins, who you may remember died of an Aids related illness, his mother (that's Elvis not Antony!) was killed in one of the planes that flew into the the twin towers. Allegedly his songs are quite dark.

I recently heard Elvis Perkins on some late night TV show, and was intrigued. Good song (While You Were Sleeping), and cool presentation in which each band member came on stage to add a new part as the song unfolded. Unfortunately, when I went to check out excerpts of the other songs on his album, none were nearly as good as that one, and his mannerisms, charming before, became a bit annoying.
Man, there are so many artists out there with one good song, and only one.
All best,
Fred
