I quite like all this rabid speculation and expectation

The 16 of Sep. is Yom Kipur for the Jews, a day to ask all the people to forgive you for your dids at the last year ...

Good job guys.
The product section is much more informative than on the old site.

Some comments:
The Fraim drawings don't fit in a full screen, you need to add scrollers.
In History, CD2 discontinued in 2002.

The job section's icon is a broom, does this mean you need sweepers to clean the old stock from the factory? big grin

Thanks Manu.

Started off OK but after a while I kept getting 'Connection Refused'. I'll try again later.

The site is beautiful.

I don't know why, sometimes I have to enter few times forwars and backword to get the next page, but it may be because the network at my work.

It's a wonder, I'm going to be older and older, Naim goes to be younger and younger.

I look at the power amps and don't see something familiar ...

I looked again at the new line and I must say that I admire Naim.
All the sudden, a new line - like you are looking on a totally new manufacturer.
I think that this prooves that the people in Naim have a great belief with their products.

Wow, what a truly beautiful and stylish website Paul S. Lots of hard work in there,no wonder small complaints about the old one were not really worried about.

The Naim product line now looks truely uniform, consistant and professional. And think of all those silly people who didn't like the new series 5 look - insane.

The mono version of the 250 (napv145)for home theatre installations was a great idea, can't wait till Feb 03. Can I ask is there a difference between a finish of "Black Aluminium" and "Black Brushed Aluminium" as only the 252 and 552 have the latter description.

Also, what happened to the balance control of the 102, looks like there is only one dial, but only the 112 and nait 5 are descibed as having a resistor ladder volume control.

Heh heh, anyone noticed the link to the forum from the front page? Kind of appropriate in some cases wink

Mario.

It would appear that the 202 still uses a poteniometer for volume and balance but the balance pot is motorised and inside the case with no external knob.

What happened to the systems part of the site. The great thing about naim is its whole system earthing scheme and system synergy, yet there seems no mention of this benefit or pictures showing complete systems. Maybe it is implied but the fact that naim can and should be a one stop music solution isn't emphasized.

Great site.

Buggy tho

You must be right, I guess one row of buttons, looks better with one dial too. Thanks for the reply, Mario.

Congratulations to Naim for what looks like a very professional, good looking site. Is that one of Vuk's pix (the padlock) on the homepage - looks a bit like his style ??

Whats more the new site seems to work OK with Netscape 6, which is more than the old one did smile

One small 'ask' here - Paul please can we have an archive link to the old 'discontinued' kit, as there'll be continuing interest for some time to come. Also I couldn't see a link to the serial number and production date list either confused

Andrew,
My take is that those are two sensible women with real interests and lives and are wondering what is so intruiging about the stupid Naim Forum that their otherwise useful husbands/love interests aren't coming to bed/washing windows/making money/spending time with their children/listening to them talk about stuff/living their lives/etc/etc/etc..

Does anyone know of a forum where women spend as much time as the lot of us? And would anyone guess the topic of such a site?

"Can I ask is there a difference between a finish of "Black Aluminium" and "Black Brushed Aluminium" as only the 252 and 552"

THe 552 and 500 have a full black, brushed ali ouer cover the others do not nor does the 252 this is a mistake thanks.

ALL THE FRONT PANELS ON ALL THE NEW PRODUCTS have a brushed ali front its just the covers we are talking about above.
